2. General queries and support

For questions about how Car Control works, a search result, a Basic report, a Premium report, or the 3 Premium reports pack, email support@carcontrol.uk. We aim to respond to general queries within 2 working days.

3. Refunds, cancellations and pack questions

If you want to ask for a refund on a report, cancel an unused credit from the 3 Premium reports pack, or you think something has gone wrong with a report or your pack, email support@carcontrol.uk with the vehicle registration and, if you have it, your pack link or code and the payment reference from your receipt email. Payment is processed by Stripe on our behalf, but we handle refunds and buyer support ourselves, not Stripe. 4. Data protection requests

For requests relating to your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection requests described in our Privacy Notice, email support@carcontrol.uk. We will respond within one month, as required by data protection law, and will let you know if we need to extend this for a complex request.

5. Complaints

If you are unhappy with the Service, the Site, a report, the pack, a refund decision, or how we have handled your personal data, please email support@carcontrol.uk with details of your concern. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and to give a full response within 10 working days where possible.

If you have raised a data protection complaint with us and remain unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by telephone on 0303 123 1113. The UK is no longer part of the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform, so that platform cannot be used for a complaint about a purchase from us; please use the routes on this page instead.
