The 3 Premium reports pack, £12.99

The pack gives you one Premium report now for the car you searched, plus 2 credits you can use on other cars within 12 months. That works out at about £4.33 per report. Credits are not a subscription: nothing renews, and unused credits expire after 12 months.

Upgrading from Basic to Premium, £3.49

If you bought a Basic report and then want the finance, write-off, stolen and keeper checks, you can upgrade from inside the report for £3.49, including VAT. Buying Basic and then upgrading costs £7.48 in total, so if you already know you want the Premium checks, buy Premium for £6.99.

What no report includes

  • Service history
  • Previous adverts for the car
  • A data guarantee. Some providers offer one of up to £30,000. Car Control doesn't.
  • The car's condition today. Always view the car, check the V5C logbook and consider an inspection.

How payment works

You enter the registration and see a free preview that confirms the car. If it is the right car, you choose a report and pay by card through Stripe, once. There is no subscription and no account to create. The report opens straight after payment and stays available through a private link for 30 days. If we can't produce your report, you get a refund. See the cancellation and refund policy.

How the price compares

A full check costs between £3.99 and £19.99 across the UK providers we compared. See the car check prices comparison, with sources, as of 26 October 2026.
